EOL of C8 water and oil repellent agent in TAIYUE factory

In the functional textile printing and dyeing industry, C8 water repellent agent, C6 water repellent agent and C0 fluorine-free water repellent agent are often exposed. What is the difference between the three? What are the differences in terms of effectiveness?
As is well known, C8, C6 water and oil repellent agents are all fluorine-based agents, C0 water repellent agent is non-fluorinated water repellent agent. Normally, C8 agent is superior to C6 and C0 non-fluorinated agents. And C8, C6 have water and oil repellent effect, and the fluorine-free water repellent agent only has a single water repellent function, and the water and oil repellent effect is C8>C6>C0;
For the latest environmental requirements, the fluorine-based water repellent agent PFOA, PFOS content must be less than 1ug / ㎡, and C8 water repellent agent PFOA, PFOS content is seriously exceeded, not environmentally friendly Requested, so it is forbidden to use. The content of PFOA and PFOS in C6 water repellent agent can not be detected, which is lower than the detection limit of 1ug / ㎡, so C6 water repellent agent is environmentally friendly and meets various international environmental protection requirements. Then the fluorine-free water repellent agent is sure environmentally friendly because it is completely free of PFOA and PFOS
C8 water repellent is a fluorocarbon-based chemical that provides durable water, oil, and stain resistance to materials like textiles, leather, and footwear. It works by creating a very low surface tension on the material. While effective, C8 repellents have fallen out of favor due to environmental concerns related to long-chain per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), and are being replaced by safer alternatives like C6 and C0 chemistry.
